College Go Ducks!

Fall Update!

I know, it’s been forever since I’ve posted.

I decided after my first year of college was over to take a break for the summer. That was a mistake because I ended up losing my motivation to keep posting. But, I’ve decided to start up again. So here I am again, with an update on my life.

I just finished the first term of my Sophomore year! This term was far better than the beginning of my freshman year because I actually have friends! It’s nice to be able to see them daily again and hang out at their apartment and support them in everything they do. Having them has made college a lot more enjoyable for me. At the beginning of lastĀ fall, it was really rough not having a group of girls to hang out with.

Classes are better too because now I’m a full major at the School of Journalism and Communication! I’m a Public Relations major, and I’m minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies and Nonprofit! I have a huge passion for women’s health care and am hoping to someday work for Planned Parenthood.

I’m also a JV coach at Thurston High School. I’m so excited to be coaching at such an iconic program. I look forward to going to practice every day. The girls I coach are so awesome and talented, and I’m so excited to watch them grow throughout the next few years! I’m so thankful for my mom and Karly for teaching me everything I know on how to be a positive coach!

I also got my FIRST apartment!! I need to do an apartment tour when I’m back from break, but I’ll post some photos from when I first moved in. It’s so nice to have my own bedroom and bathroom. And, although I’m no cook, I do enjoy cooking for myself now.

That’s basically all I’ve been up to. School, coaching, friends, and repeat. I’m hoping to actually start posting once or twice a week, and maybe posting about more things than just school. Message me on Instagram if you have any post ideas for me!
